The Miniature Railway Museum Trust has been formed to collect, preserve,
document, interpret and displays material and artefacts relating to the history
of ALL of Britain’s Miniature Railways and their place in the life of the
nation.
We successfully presented our seaside miniature railway exhibition "Rails to the Sands" launched in July 2010 in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire. We have longer-term plans for a larger, permanent museum and a series of initiatives to make our potentially vast collection and research materials available to all. Find out how you can help to make this a success.
We’ve also formed the Friends of the Miniature Railway Museum - a supporting society for miniature railway enthusiasts - to help us achieve our aims.
With a strong team of trustees, a growing number of volunteers, miniature railway and museum experts and advisors, the Miniature Railway Museum Trust is an exciting project with a bright future. See our current projects, read our latest news or join us today!
